maori culture exchange

another set of hospitality club guests i hosted in Vigan.

Kamera and Harley are Maoris from New Zealand. They were happy to show us a bit of their culture:

HAKKA 101. Here's Harley teaching my cousins the stance.

Kamera gives me the lowdown on poi.

I can see that you are a well travelled person. I appreciate your advocacy for global friendship. Thanks for visiting my blogsite.

Vigan is a combination of Chinese and Hispanic influences. The hispanic influence consists of Spanish and Mexican cultures. Vigan is more Mexican than Spanish.

i like to take my part in making this world a smaller place to live in =)

i wish there'd be more biguenyos (sorry, my alt+164 isn't working) signing up for hospitality club. it's a chance for us to entice the world to come and see the beauty of our heritage.

oh is that so? i didn't know we're more mexican than spanish! no wonder, i was feeling a bit nostalgic when i was at guadalajara.
